On 9 October 2020, I co-organized a workshop together with EatMyRide in Utrecht. In this workshop, we explored nutrition planning experiences of a group of experienced cyclists (this was of course aligned with Corona measures).
In the workshop, we asked the cyclists to narrate the most memorable race they had ever experienced. We requested them to reflect back and connect their in-race mood fluctuations with their nutrition intake. The cyclists then shared their experiences with the other participants, which resulted in fruitful discussions on nutrition food planning in cycling.
We arrived at very rich (and crazy) insights from the cyclists. The results of the workshop will be used for further development of the EatMyRide app.
As of November 2020, the company is looking for Master’s student from University of Twente to develop the app in a user-centred approach. The description of the assignment can be found here.
