In “Scientific Challenges” minor, one of the talented third-year Industrial Design Engineering bachelor’s students, Shaurya Chaudhary, worked on a scientific challenge in healthy physical activity and sports, with a focus of self-tracking in field hockey.  He started his project with exploring the practices of self-tracking in field hockey, and how self-tracking would further be beneficial for amateur and/or professional players. His main challenge was to discover the strategies for  intuitive and informative data collection and representation. He found that the right sort of data can be provided to players during and after the training and matches, along with the right sort of feedback and suggested tecnique improvements.

Take a look at the video below for a recap of his Scientific Challenges Minor project.
